Maths Times Tables challenge: Revise your times tables and division facts using the games on the blog. Reading Challenge: Check the BSAK Reading Blog here: How much of the reading challenge booklet can you complete? Also don’t forget the Extreme Reading Competition. E mail your photos to your Class Teacher or bring in a copy at the start of Term 2. We can’t wait to see how you’ve done! Read, read, read!: Choose any books to read. You will have Library Books too, just remember not to take them out of the country! There will be no Reading Scheme books given over the holidays. It’s your opportunity to read the books you have at home. Holiday Diary: Don't forget to keep a lovely holiday diary and record all of the wonderful things you did including photographs, we would love to see them on your return. Term 2: In Term 2 we will be studying Early Islamic Civilisation, can you find out any facts? Create a Powerpoint or IMovie? In addition, in Science we are starting our Electricity topic, can you find out how a circuit works? What is Electricity? and finally............... Do at least 3 of the following - 1. Smile and say thank you to at least 3 people 2. Sleep for a very long time to allow your parents to have a rest too! 3. Perform a random act of kindness - tell your techer about it on the blog. 4. Play a game with your family. 5. Watch a super movie. 6. Learn a new skill Have fun, rest and be safe!

Optional homework: Why not look at the list below and work on some of the harder ones using the Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check game below! Alternatively, go over the words from Year 3 and revise them, use www.dictionary.com to check the meanings of the words and use your blue spelling book to write sentences with them in. Please use your spelling words to write 9 fantastic sentences. In English, we have been learning how to use conjunctions and commas to extend our sentences. Can you use these in your homework? Don't forget: Your teacher will use the following success criteria to mark your work.
