the fourth one is the one with a third shaded because there is six and two are shaded if three were it would be equal to a half but there is only two and two times three is six the first one does not have a third shaded because there is two and it is not a half either because the square and rectangle are not equal.Number two has four and only one shaded so there can not be a third shaded.Number three can not have a third shaded because there may be three shapes and one shaded the shapes are not equal and I have learnt in maths that a fraction can only be a fraction if the pieces and/or shapes are equal and the shapes are not equal.

The last one has three quarters blue because there is eight and six shaded if you know your two times tables you will know two times three is six so there are three groups of six so one quarter will be two there are three groups of two so there are three quarters.Number one does not have three quarters shaded because there is seven blocks and only three shaded.Number two does not either because one of the squares is unequal.Number three does not either because it looks like four squares however it is not it is actually two squares and a rectangle which is equivalent to two squares.

I agree with both because three fourths are equal to six eights.

The mistake they have made was instead of doubling the numbers they have added two to each of them.

1. I have found my answer for question number one and all the 1 3s are the number 1 the 1st shape now for number 2. Is I found all the shapes that are blue shaded all the first 2 ones at the top and the bottom left. 3. I agree with both because at the rectangles are all parts of like 2 of each box and 3 out of 4 are shaded by 6 out of 8 are shaded. 4. One half is equivalent to 3 out of 6 and 2 out of 4 is a half and so on so this is all my explanations for this home work goodbye.
