We are so privileged to have had the scholars from Ancient Baghdad who brought so many new things to the modern world such as algebra, optics and many other things. They had many universities including one of the oldest in the world! They were very peaceful, which is why they got so much time to create inventions and to study. There is also a huge library called the House of Wisdom. They were very successful in science and mathematics which has benefited us a lot today.

Ancient Baghdad is fascinating because it attracted musicians, artists, scholars, scientists, readers, historians, and travellers from baghdad would go all around the world and bring back books from countries like Greece,Rome,England, lots of countries. Then all the books would be taken back to baghdad and translated into arabic ,which is there language and that is how people in baghdad learnt so much from different people in different countries.
